*This Project is brought to you by Kitsunesuki of Amazonia in Wiccana* This package contains a modified MousePointers folder with high quality enhanced colored mouse pointers designed to help people who have trouble seeing the default pointers. The pointers are a remake of the exact same pointers so this package maintains the feel and look of the AoC interface. *Instructions* The following steps are the prerequisites required to allow custom mouse pointers to load in game properly. After that any modifications to the Customized MousePointers folder should load appropriately. Download Age of Conan QS.NET following the instructions on that page to set it up. Go to the following link for download: http://aoc.curse.com/downloads/aoc-addons/details/aoc-quick-start.aspx The program is just an installer that you extract from the zip file and runs like your installing any normal program. Write down the install location whether its the default suggested or one you define. You will use for the next step. Now acquire MousePointerCopy plug-in for AoC QS.NET from the following link and follow the instructions to install it: http://aoc.curse.com/downloads/aoc-addons/details/mousepointercopy-plugin.aspx If the instructions from the above link confuse you do the following things to find the Plugins folder for Age of Conan QS.NET: Refer to the install location you wrote down to find the directory containing the plugins folder right away. Otherwise if you didn't use the following method to find and open the directory. Windows Vista and 7 Right click the shortcut called "AoCQS.Configurator" it was created on the desktop automatically. In the right click menu choose "Open File Location" You should then notice in the window that came up a plugins folder. Windows XP Right click the shortcut and choose properties. In the properties window click Find Target and a window will open up. You will notice the plugins folder there. After putting the plugin in its proper place inside the AoCQS.NET directory you should be all set to load up the client and play the game with custom mouse pointers. No longer will you have difficulty seeing your pointer and what your doing! The Following Method is used to install the custom mouse pointers. Extract the zip file and place the "MousePointers" folder that was inside of it inside the following directory: C:\Program Files\Funcom\Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized\gfx\ or for people using a different drive and not the default *Your Install location*Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized\gfx\ It should then have the file structure of: C:\Program Files\Funcom\Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized\gfx\MousePointers\ *and 83 cursor files inside that folder* or for people using a different drive and not the default once again *Your Install location*Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized\gfx\MousePointers\ *and 83 cursor files inside that folder* Now that you've finished placing the folder you should load up the client and notice immediate changes. Possible Reasons this procedure does not work! *You do not have .net framework 3.5 installed with 3.5 service pack 1 as well. - Reinstall AoCQS.NET after fixing this. *You have the client and/or AoCQS.NET installed on different hard drives other than the default in C: - not sure about this reason yet... *You didn't put your files in the right place. Read the instructions again and double check your work and try again. If you tried all these and you still cant get it to work. Post details below and I'll try to assist when I can. *Side note* While you have QS.NET you might as well use its feature to skip the intro movies that get annoying after a while. Also try out the YG Updater plugin, which basically automatically starts the updater so the database on yg.com may stay current and updated thanks to your client!
