Keeper's Alpha Map

This small addons is a basic reskin of the maps for Age of Conan reducing the border size and enabling transparency to the maps using alpha channel.

Basic Functionnalities

  • The basic functionnalities of the Maps system have not been changed. Map positionning and resizing are still the same.
  • Border size greatly reduces.
  • Transparency level of 0.35 for all maps.
  • Transparency level of 0.35 for small maps (top right corner map)

    • How to

    If you wish to change the alpha transparency level.

  • Open the file '\Gui\Customized\Views\MapGUI\RegionMapRendered.xml'
  • Change the value of 'view_alpha = "0.35"'. Take note that this value must be between 0.0 and 1.0
    0.0 beeing completly transparent and 1.0 beeing opaque (thus no transparency).
  • Save your file afterward and enjoy your personal changes.
