1) I dont like your castbar, how can I get the default UI castbar ?

Just delete file : AOC_INSTALL_DIR\Data\Gui\Customized\Views\CommandTimerBar.xml
… or disable it with AoC UI Installer

To fix castbar moving, try this :

• Enable castbars (options or /stonerune menu)
• Move them the place you want
• Disable castbars (options or /stonerune menu)
• Log out by using /camp and wait until the 15sec timer ends
• Exit AoC using “Quit” button

... castbar position may be saved. If you click “quit” for a brutal log out, it may mess with castbars.
Beware : will stil mess if you switch windowed/fullscreen mode.

If castbars are “behind” portraits and you can’t grab them, try this :

• Interface Options > HUD
• Uncheck “Enable left portrait”
• Uncheck “Enable right portrait”
• Click OK, go back ingame
• Search and move your castbars
• Go back to Interface Options and enable portraits again
• Use upside technic to “fix” them

But remember castbar are a pain in the arse, they are borked and I can’t really do anything about it :(

3) I dont want ingame message, what can I do to get rid of them ?

Disable through your options … or disable it with AoC UI Installer or …
Edit file : AOC_INSTALL_DIR\Data\Gui\Customized\Views\MainGUI\FadeInFadeOutView.xml (with notepad)
Delete lines between comments (open it and you will understand)

If you did it yourself by hand : try using AoC UI Installer
Don’t forget to update UI version after an AoC patch. Try updating it with AoC UI Installer
If it still don’t work, clean your “Customized” directory and … try again :)

7) What did you use to make Stonerune ?

• Pen & paper before everything
• Foxe XML Editor
• AOC.QS (great to bypass patcher and save some precious time)
• Adobe Photoshop
• Irfanview (great for browsing and thumbnails)
• Lot of coffee
• Lot of time (something like the minimap redesign and coding can take me up to 12 hours … yes, I’m a slacker)
• Spotify while working
• ... and TestLive Server when it’s up

Put your mouse cursor on the “Enlightment Pearl” bottom left and use your mouswheel center button. And voilà :)

Just delete directory : AOC_INSTALL_DIR\Data\Gui\Customized\Views\ComboSequenceIndicator\
No vertical Stonerune-designed CSI is planed, use default.

It’s in options, Interface > HUD > Show Combo Sequence Indicator (11th row). Check it, then move the combo sequence indicator to the place you want.

11) I have some sort of pet (Conq’s Heroic Call) and I need CSI, but Pet Command Bar appear over my CSI, what can I do ?

Two solutions :

1/ simple and dirty : put your combo sequence indicator somewhere else so, when you pop your “pet”, it won’t be over the CSI

2/ less simple and dirty : remove the “pet bar” from the bottom bar by editing :

• open AOC_INSTALL_DIR\Data\Gui\Customized\Views\HUD\BottomBar.xml with notepad or any editor
• remove line 56 where there is <PetCommandBar/>
• save

When you will be in game, the “pet bar” won’t pop anymore if you have a pet to manage. But if you still want to command your pet, you can drag’n drop pet command icons from your Abilities to your Bottom Bar.

12) I can’t see/use your special /stonerune menu, what am I doing wrong ?

First, be sure you installed Stonerune with AoC UI Installer. If you did by hand and file copying, you may have forgotten the stonerune script. Reinstall again with AoC UI Installer.
Then type “/stonerune” ingame, a line of text should appear in your chat window : click it, Stonerune Tweaking menu should be displayed.

13) How can I change the raid layout to get it 1×4 or 4×1 or 2×2 groups ?

This is a standard feature that work as well with Default UI : just mouse hover the most right border of your raid window. Your mouse cursor shoould change from default (usual arrow) to resize (double headed horizontal arrow). Drag and drop and voilà ! You should be able to set your raid groups to the layout you want : vertical (4×1), horizontal (1×4) or square (2×2)
